Terms of Service

FieldPrompt helps field service teams manage work orders, estimates, scheduling, technician updates, notifications, and payments. These terms explain the basic rules for using the product.

1. Who these terms apply to

FieldPrompt is provided by [Insert legal entity name before launch]. These terms apply to the companies, admins, dispatchers, technicians, and other users who access the service. If you use FieldPrompt on behalf of a company, you confirm that you have authority to do so.

2. What the service is for

FieldPrompt is operational software for field service businesses. You may use it to manage customer records, work orders, estimates, invoices, scheduling, notifications, technician updates, mobile workflows, and related business activity.

3. Accounts and workspace access

You are responsible for keeping your login credentials secure and for the activity that happens under your workspace. Use real, accurate account information and remove access for people who should no longer be in your workspace.

4. Acceptable use

You may not use the service to break the law, harm other people, or interfere with the product.

  • Do not attempt to bypass authentication, permissions, or rate limits.
  • Do not upload malicious code, spam, or fraudulent content.
  • Do not use the service in a way that disrupts other tenants or users.

5. Billing and third-party services

Paid subscriptions, if offered, are billed through third-party payment providers such as Stripe. Those providers handle payment processing on their own terms. You are responsible for taxes, chargebacks, and payment issues tied to your account unless local law says otherwise.

6. Your data

You keep ownership of the business data you put into the service, including customer details, work orders, estimates, invoices, schedules, notes, and technician updates. You give us permission to host, process, transmit, and back up that data as needed to operate and support the service.

7. Mobile and location features

Some workflows include technician mobile usage and location reporting. If you enable GPS or technician location features, you are responsible for using them lawfully and informing your workforce in a way that fits your local rules and employment practices.

8. Availability and changes

We aim to keep the service available and improve it over time, but we do not promise that it will be uninterrupted or error-free. Features may change as the product evolves, especially during a young product launch phase.

9. Suspension and termination

We may suspend or terminate access if accounts are used fraudulently, abusively, or in a way that creates security or legal risk. You may stop using the service at any time.

10. Liability and common-sense limits

FieldPrompt is provided on an as-available basis. To the extent allowed by law, we are not responsible for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages, including lost profits, lost data, or downtime caused by third-party outages, user error, or misuse.
