Privacy Policy

This page explains what data FieldPrompt collects, how it is used, and the practical choices available to your team and customers.

1. Information we collect

We collect the information needed to run the product and support your account.

  • Account and profile details such as names, email addresses, phone numbers, and roles.
  • Business and operational data such as branches, customers, work orders, estimates, invoices, schedules, notes, and attachments.
  • Payment-related details provided through third-party processors such as Stripe.
  • Mobile, device, and app usage data needed to support authentication, troubleshooting, and product reliability.
  • Technician location data when GPS or location reporting features are enabled.
  • Communication and notification data tied to email, push, or SMS delivery where those features are used.

2. How we use information

  • To authenticate users and secure workspaces.
  • To power scheduling, dispatch, technician updates, work order history, and customer workflows.
  • To process payments, invoice activity, and related billing events.
  • To send product emails, operational notices, and user-triggered notifications.
  • To troubleshoot bugs, monitor service health, and improve the product.

3. How we share information

We do not sell customer data. We may share data with service providers that help us run the product, such as hosting, email, messaging, payment, logging, and infrastructure vendors. We may also share information when required by law, to protect the service, or as part of a business transfer.

4. GPS and technician location data

If your workspace uses technician location features, location reports may be processed and stored to support dispatch visibility, branch coordination, job progress, and related operational workflows. Your company is responsible for deciding when to enable those features and for communicating with technicians appropriately.

5. Payments

Payment processing is handled by third parties such as Stripe. We may store limited payment status, invoice, and checkout records, but we do not store full payment card numbers in the application.

6. Retention and security

We keep data for as long as it is reasonably needed to operate the service, meet legal obligations, resolve disputes, and maintain business records. We use practical security measures, but no system can promise perfect security.

7. Your choices

Workspace admins can update account details and remove users through the product. You may also contact us to ask privacy questions, request account support, or discuss data access and deletion requests that apply to your account.

8. Contact

Privacy questions can be sent to support@fieldprompt.com. Mail contact is currently listed as [Insert mailing address before launch].
